To sleep or not to sleep

Sleep supplements are surely and odd thing.
A supplement is something added to make up for a deficiency, to complete something, to make something whole.
If I supplement my diet when hitting the gym I may take a high carbohydrate drink or even just a banana. Both will give me loads of energy.
How do I supplement sleep though?
Do not get me wrong I appreciate I can take herbal remedies that will aid or encourage sleep. I am just More
